Joan Rivers Beauty Coral with Pure Ice Orange Sorbet

Good morning!  Todays mani features Joan Rivers Beauty nail polish in “Coral” and Pure Ice “Orange Sorbet”.  I picked up a 5 piece Joan Rivers collection from The Shopping Channel on sale and I had an additional % off with free shipping.  I’m glad I got this set.  Formula is great!  Of course the Pure Ice was purchased at Walmart. I’m not seeing anything about this collection on the interwebz. I wonder if it’s a Canadian exclusive?  There were 6 speckled polishes and a bunch of cremes or shimmers .  I’ve picked up 5 of the speckled’s so far and am looking for the last one.

These 2 polishes don’t go perfectly together. I would say the Joan Rivers is a pinky coral while the Pure Ice is more orange.  In real life they look just fine together.  I messed up the polish on my index finger and the glitter was sitting on my desk.  Do you all find yourself (as I do) accenting whichever finger gets messed up during or after application?  You will see any combination of my fingers with “accents”.  It all depends on how the painting of the main color went. 🙂

This is 2 coats of “Coral” with 1 coat of “Orange Sorbet” on the index and pinky.  The first coat of “Coral” was quite patchy but a thicker 2nd coat made everything nice and smooth.  My QDTC leveled everything and made it look great!  Nice glitter distribution without fighting with the polish.  You can always click on the pictures to see them larger.
