Color Club Ulterior Motive

Hi everyone!  Happy Canada Day!  No red & white mani for me (yet). 🙂

Today I have another Color Club polish to share.  I am swatching my whole collection on those plastic swatch sticks and I’ve been working on Color Club which is why we’ve seen so many from that brand lately.  I’m done with the swatches for Color Club, so will be moving on to another brand soon.

So Ulterior Motive is an older color and isn’t easily available anymore.  It’s from the Spring 2011 Alter Ego “Keep It Undercover” collection.

It’s a gorgeous glowy fuchsia glass fleck. It’s very pretty!  I’ve been very impressed with my Color Club’s. This is day 3 for this one (usually I’ve been changing every day) and all I’ve had is a bit of tip wear.  I must say though, I’m not normally prone to chips anyway.

Most of the pictures are taken outside in overcast skies. They seem pretty color accurate on my monitor.  The sun peeked out for a second, so one photo is in the sun. That made the color much brighter than it is in real life.

The photos are 2 coats with topcoat. If you hold your hand up, you can still see some visible nail line.  I really don’t notice it though unless I’m holding my hand up.  If you don’t like that, 3 coats should hide it.  Formula was fantastic.

So shall we look at the pictures?

This one is in the sun, so not color accurate…

And here’s Chico photo-bombing the shot again! It’s his favorite thing to do!!

Well, that’s it for today. Thanks for stopping by and taking a look.
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
