Chanel Fraicheur — With Comparisons

So, I think I have a problem with green polish…

Mint green polish

More on this later!

Today I have a LE Chanel to show you.  Fraicheur.  I just picked this up yesterday and was so excited, I had to put it on right away!!  The saleslady was like, “If you love the color, you may want to buy more than one, as this is LE – once it’s gone it’s gone”.  Well, judging by the picture above, I think I’ll be ok with only one Thank. You. Very. Much.

I love this color, and as you will see at the bottom of this post, there’s really nothing quite like it.  It’s a fresh yellow based green. Really pretty! The formula was excellent, but the brush. The brush had a wonky bristle shooting out of it. You would think for $30 they would not do that. And the brush was like spongy. I don’t know how to describe it really, but I didn’t like it.  I managed to work around the brush, and the formula was great!  It dried so shiny too!  I’m afraid to move without quick dry topcoat, so I didn’t show you pictures without topcoat, but take my word for it. Super shiny!!

All the pictures are 2 coats of Chanel Fraicheur with topcoat.

Do you want to see?  Do ya??

And now, as promised, some comparisons of Chanel Fraicheur with whatever I could think of that may be close.  If you want to see something else with it, comment below and I’ll see if I have it. If I do, I’m happy to post it for you.

The comparison pictures are inside under OTT light on the left and outside in the sun on the right.  In real life, OPI Damone Roberts 1968 was probably the closest of all of these choices…

Whew!  What a post. My first comparison post too! How exciting! I need to work on my swatch stick picture taking, but with practice I will get better.

Thanks so much for stopping by!
I hope to hear from you in the comments!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.

  1. This is gorgeous on you, I'm kinda lemming it now! And I love comparison posts, though I don't own any of those greens – so I guess that means I need more, right?!
