China Glaze Wanderlust & Colors by Llarowe Yes, I Am The Tooth Fairy & Dance Legend Topcoat For Dark Polish 607

Hey everybody! It’s a new week.  Today I have another evolving mani to show you.  I never wear my mani’s for very long, so they evolve pretty quickly. LOL!

I started with China Glaze Wanderlust and Colors by Llarowe Yes, I Am The Tooth Fairy. I paired these together because the CbL has the same pinkish shimmer that is the base for the China Glaze.  They looked very nice together!

China Glaze Wanderlust is from the Spring 2015 Road Trip Collection.  I’d read that the formula was maybe not the best, so I thinned mine before I even started. I made it very thin but I didn’t get any streaks or problem areas (except the flooding of the cuticles which is easy enough to clean up).  The polish is a pretty soft pinky purple on the nail.  I used 3 coats plus topcoat.  The shimmer is pretty evident.

Colors by Llarowe Yes, I Am The Tooth Fairy is from the 2015 New Year, New CbL Collection and is sadly not available right now.  Mine is a bit of a greyed white base with holo micro glitter and lots of pink shimmer.  It was a bit bumpy on the first coat, so I added some thinner and the second coat was smoother but it still dried kind of bumpy. Topcoat will fix that though.  I used 2 coats with topcoat.

So here are the pictures…

I liked this combo. It really went together great…

Of course, I couldn’t stop there.  I had pulled out this Dance Legend Topcoat For Dark Polish 607 to see if I wanted more colors from this line because they are on sale at llarowe.com right now.  I’m not sure why they want to limit people in only using this over dark colors. It has a clear base, so you can layer it over any color, so I chose to layer it over this mani.

Dance Legend Topcoat for Dark Polish 607 is a clear base with micro holographic glitter and tons of blue shimmer.  Don’t let the bottle fool you. They put a cover over the bottle so you cannot see the contents.  It really added a lot of oomph to my previous mani. The shimmer is so visible indoors and in the shade and then the sun brings out all the micro holo glitter. It’s really a win/win!  I can’t wait to try this over a dark color as they suggest!

So here are pictures of the final mani. These are 3 coats of China Glaze Wanderlust, 2 coats of Colors by Llarowe Yes, I Am The Tooth Fairy and 1 coat of Dance Legend Topcoat for Dark Polish 607…
