Illamasqua Collide

Hi everyone! Today I have a nice bright neon to show you. I’m not a big wearer of neons (except for on my toes) but I’m going to reach for more of them this year if they all behave as great as Illamasqua Collide (which sadly I doubt they could).

I just purchased this online from The Bay in Canada. They have been fazing out Illamasqua polishes, but they have a few left and they’re on sale too! I just opened my package yesterday and knew I was going to have to put this beauty on my nails right away!

Illamasqua Collide is a bright fuchsia pink. Indoors and in the shade it sometimes will look more pinky/orangey/red, but outdoors it is much more hot pink! The formula is one of the best I’ve ever used! I am a huge fan of Illamasqua polishes – they never disappoint! I used 2 coats, no undies, and it just slid effortlessly onto the nail. I smudged my pinky and had to redo it, so I only put 1 coat on that finger and it looks just as saturated in color as the others!! Very minimal cleanup required – even on my right hand which usually looks like a monkey did my mani! I put this on early evening yesterday and no chips or tip wear yet and I’ve been hard on my hands this morning already. Illamasqua Collide will dry matte as neons do, but a shiny topcoat takes care of that. I am smitten with this polish! I just love it! I think this is another contender for Top 20 of 2015 for me!
