Chanel Kaleidoscope

Hey everyone!  Today I have Chanel Kaleidoscope to show you. “From pewter to antique gold” is the description I have in my spreadsheet.

Indoors, I mainly see burnished gold but this polish is a bit of a chameleon.

No, not that type of Chameleon 🙂

This guy is at the Toronto Zoo if you want to go visit him.
I’m not sure exactly how I feel about this polish. I wanted to love it, but I think it doesn’t really “go” with my skin tone. Maybe I will like it better in the fall/winter.  I’ve had a few polishes before that I wear and really dislike, then I wear that same polish during a different season and love it!  So I’m always hesitant to just write off a polish right away.
I could tell this polish was going to be prone to brushstrokes, so I tried to take my time and be extra careful with application.  Another trick I’ve read about (but haven’t tried) with brushstroke-y polishes is to sponge on the last coat. That should mask all of the brushstrokes.  I used 2 coats and topcoat for the pictures.

Here is Chanel Kaleidoscope. 2 coats and topcoat…

Eh, I think the jury’s still out on this one.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
