Michael Kors Day Dreamer

Hi guys!  Today I have another “new to me” brand – Michael Kors.

The Bay in Canada had these on sale so I had to pick up a few to try them out.  The first one I chose to wear is Day Dreamer (Side note: The Bay had this polish and another one messed up on the online site.  They had the picture for this polish under the name of another polish and vice-versa.  I ordered by name rather than by picture and got the correct polish).  I also read on MUA that Nordstrom Rack in the US has a selection of Michael Kors polishes for sale too! Lucky you if you live close to one of those stores!!

Michael Kors Day Dreamer is a very nice polish. I added just a couple of drops of thinner to make it easier for me to work with.  I would say this is a pinky salmon with golden flakes. Bad news – all the golden flakes you will see in my full sun pictures look gorgeous – in the sun. They do not show up in normal office lighting at all. 😦  It’s still a very pretty polish though!  I love the packaging of these polishes!  The gold cap is an outer cap and pops off so it’s easier to paint your nails.  I used 3 coats and topcoat. The brush is a pretty good size. I like a firmer brush, but I was able to work with this one just fine.

I’m very excited to wear a few of the other colors I got.  As another side note, Michael Kors Charmed looks like a dead on dupe for China Glaze For Audrey – so if you have For Audrey and are happy with it, save your money for another pretty polish.

And look at this macro. If only these flakes showed up indoors…

Well, that’s my first Michael Kors polish.
I’m glad I picked some of these up!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
