Bow by Dance Legend – Tears Don’t Fall

Hey everyone!  Today I have a new brand that Dance Legend has come out with called Bow. I was able to pick up a couple of these from llarowe’s going out of business sale.  Well, she’s not going out of business, she’ll still carry her own brand and some polish supplies.

So Bow by Dance Legend. Can I start with the packaging?  It’s so cute!  It comes in a little box all wrapped in a bow. The bottle is 11ml or .4 fl oz. A little smaller than a regular size bottle. It’s the same weight as a Butter London polish. I will show you bottles comparisons at the end between Bow and Butter London.  So you open the cute box and you have a square bottle with the big white cap.  I read on the MUA Nail Board that this white cap does not come off and painting is awkward.  My big white cap did come off, but your still left with a “not as awkward” awkward handle to paint with.  They need to rethink the handle and lid.  The brush is an ok size, but very short. So if your white outer lid will not come off, it really makes painting a pain.

So the polish. Tears Don’t Fall is a thermal polish that changes with hot or cold temperatures.  I have my house on the chilly side today (getting ready for a hot day) and I have a French mani look all the time indoors. Dance Legend thermals are some of the best as far as changing colors go.  The “cold” color is a dark royal blue while the “warm” color is a very pale sky blue.

I maybe should have layered this over something. I couldn’t think of good undies to wear with it, so I just put 3 coats on by themselves.  It has a very ethereal look to it and I really love it. In bright light it shows some patchiness, but inside it’s lovely. Formula was good.  I thought this was a glitter polish, but when you see the macro picture, you will see it’s a bunch of flakes. Overall, I really like the polish a lot!!

So here we go with Bow by Dance Legend, Tears Don’t Fall.

Here I forced the color change with water. Excuse the water droplets on my hands.  Taken indoors by a window. 3 coats without topcoat.
Here it is “cold”…

So the bottle seems so tiny when you first take it out. I wanted to show you all comparisons between the Bow bottle and a Butter London bottle…
