Emily de Molly – The Rapture

Hi everyone! Hope you all had a great weekend. It was so dreary and rainy here. But it’s Monday and the sun is shining, so it’s a good day!

Today I have a flakie polish from Emily de Molly to share with you.  I thought this was black judging from the bottle, but it’s actually a very dark blue base with copper/pink/green/gold colour shifting flakes and pink micro holo glitter.  Indoors it still looks mostly black on the nails though.  I did this mani on Saturday afternoon but just took the pictures this morning and as you can see, it is holding up remarkably well this Monday morning!  I’m a big fan of flakies, and this one has flakies AND shimmer, so I’m loving this polish!

Formula was excellent after I added a few drops of nail polish thinner.  I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the pictures below.

Here’s what the bottle looks like…

And that’s all for today!
Do you like flakie polishes?
Would you rather layer them yourself,
or are you loving the flakies already in colored bases?
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
