Hey everyone! Hope you’re all having a good week so far. I am loving my mani today. I may have another contender for my Top 20 of 2015.
Colors by Llarowe Girls Shift Faster is from the summer 2015 Go Faster Collection. This is a LE polish, but it is available on her website as of my writing this post. Her description of the polish is this, “Deep lilac crelly base with intense pink to gold to red shimmer”. Eh, I don’t see the shifting shimmer in person, and I don’t know why, but my bottle is much darker than the pictures on her website. I did manage to get one picture outside showing off a bit of shifting shimmer, but inside, no it’s just an intense pinky purple color. I still love this polish, I just want you to be aware. Formula was great. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for my pictures.
Now, onto one of my top contenders. Nfu Oh JS12 is from the Jelly Series of polishes. This was my first jelly polish I’ve tried from them, but if they are all this great, I will be back for more! I did color correct my photos of this color, my camera was wanting it to be more pink, but it is a very nice medium lilac color. It matches the shimmer in the CbL quite nicely in real life. Formula was excellent! This polish just glided on like butter. It did want to pool a bit in my cuticles, but that is easy enough to clean up. It is so smooth and it dries so shiny too! I used 3 coats plus topcoat for my photos. Love this one!

Pretty! Would the jelly be sheer enough to do a jelly sandwich? I'm debating two orange colors to do a fall leaves manicure for when I'm raking said leaves. 🙂

This one is on the edge of working for a jelly sandwich. It does work, but it's borderline too dark for it. I did a quick test nail and used a chunky glitter and you *can* see the glitter through the top layer of polish. If you're looking at 2 different colors, I'd use the darker one for the base, put your leaves, then a lighter color for the top layer.
Would love to see a picture of this mani when you do it! 🙂
