Nabi Hologram – Navy Blue & Zoya – Dream

Hey everyone!  Today I’m sharing my birthday mani.  I went with blue to match my birthstone which is Sapphire.  I had to nub my nails so short!  I like them though. Good for dark, vampy colors so watch out for those in the upcoming weeks.

Today I have two holographic polishes to show you.  Nabi “Hologram” in Navy Blue is a pretty medium navy.  This is more of a scattered holo, but very fine particles. It’s so smooth and pretty!  Formula was great!  Be careful around the cuticles because it did want to make bald patches, but once I realized that, I was more careful.  I just used my regular base and top coats. Nothing special needed for this one. I used 3 coats plus topcoat. This one dries dull, so you’ll want a shiny topcoat on top.

Zoya Dream is also a scattered holographic but with larger glitter particles, so it looks kind of “chunky”.  This one is a bit darker navy base.  Formula is excellent! I used 2 coats plus topcoat. One coat covers well, but two coats deepens the color.  Dries shiny and smooth.  I really like these two polishes together. They are not the type of blue that look black indoors. You always see the blue.  They look nice indoors as well as in the sun.
