Hi folks! Yes, it’s been awhile since we’ve pulled out our shatter/crackle polishes, I know! But it’s Halloween time! What better time to play with them than now?
I started out with Sally Hansen Triple Shine 630 Sparktacular. This is a bright orange jelly base with green, orange and gold glitter. This had a very good formula, but it is a jelly, so sheer. I only used 2 coats and topcoat and it did build up nicely, but you could see the nail line. It’s so, so sparkly and smooth! The outer cap comes off for ease of painting, and I love the nice wide brush!
Then I added 1 thin coat of OPI Black Shatter and another coat of topcoat to shine it up. I always preferred to wear shatters with sparkly polishes underneath.
Here is Sally Hansen Sparktacular all on it’s own. 2 coats plus topcoat.
And here is Sally Hansen Triple Shine Sparktacular, 2 coats and OPI Black Shatter, 1 coat.
