Hey everyone! I’m taking a break from Halloween today to show you this beauty that I got in the mail last week. I had to see if the gorgeousness that is the bottle translates onto the nails. (Spoiler…Indoors, it doesn’t really!)
OPI Cosmo With A Twist is from the new OPI Holiday 2015 Collection called Starlight. I wasn’t even sure if this polish was blue or purple as I was painting last night. I had to resort to looking at the neck of the bottle to see it is, in fact, purple. Cosmo With A Twist is a very dark purple with blue and purple shimmer.
You will see a lot of gorgeous photos down below, but know that that is not how the polish looks indoors. Like ever! In my office, the polish looks like a very dark navy blue with a few sparks showing if the light hits it right. Indoors in the sun it still looks dark blue but the shimmer is much more evident. Last night as the sun was setting I was taking my first photos and I could not get this polish to flash purple at all! Finally today in bright noon time sun the purple came out.
It’s still a very nice polish! The formula was very good. You do need to paint carefully and not go over the same spot because it will pull up the polish and leave a drag or bald mark. I was able to cover those up with a little thicker second coat. I like the polish and am glad I got it. I just wish what you see in the bottle you would see indoors on the nail. The bottle is just beautiful!
