Hey everyone! Today’s mani was supposed to be China Glaze But of Corpse with the Nerd Lacquer, but I could not get the China Glaze to cooperate with me. I tried twice and just gave up!
Del Sol Trick or Treat is a color changing polish that changes color outdoors in the sun. The indoor color is a very bright orange and it claims to change to black outdoors, but it’s really just a dark burnt orange. It is so sparkly with holo glitter too. I’ve had it for a few years (I bought it on Ebay) and have never worn it before. What was I waiting for? I love it!! I tried it layered over an orange base but didn’t like it that way at all, so I just did 3 coats with no undies.
Nerd Lacquer HOCCHHHKSSSHHHHH (what does that even mean??!!) is a “sheer black with black hex, black square, black bar, and black micro glitter, finished off with big charcoal holo hex and micro holo shimmer scattered throughout”. The formula was very good with this one. Some of the bar glitter wanted to stand straight up on my nail, but I just took those pieces off with tweezers. (I dislike bar glitter anyway). Once it’s on the nail, I don’t even notice the bars so this is a keeper. This builds up nicely without undies. It does need extra topcoat though.
