Hey everyone! Welcome to my first Nail Polish Battle! Today, Chanel Troublante is taking on China Glaze Cabin Fever to see which is our favorite! I will refer to them as only “Polish A” and “Polish B” until the end of the post. There I will reveal which is which and hopefully you will let me know in the comments if you’ve guessed correctly and which is your favorite.
“Polish A” is on my index and pinky fingers. Formula was good. It was really runny when I first opened it and it really wanted to pool in my cuticles, so I left the cap off for a while and it thickened up nicely. It has a very good shift through the colors of pink to antique gold to bronze. Very smooth, very few brushstrokes after it dries. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos.
“Polish B” is on my middle and ring fingers. Much better formula, but I’m not a fan of the brush. I prefer a stiffer brush, this one is rather “mop like” and I have a hard time painting the sides of my nails. This one doesn’t really show a pink except at extreme angles. It shifts through a bronze, antique gold, then to a bit of pink. Very smooth with very few brushstrokes showing once it dries. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos.

“Polish A”…
In my own opinion, the China Glaze wins the battle. I love the more pink shift it has and after it thickened up a little, the formula was great and I prefer the brush in this one. And of course the price, it’s about a fourth the cost of the Chanel.

I was interested in Troublante initially, but now after this review I am going to get Cabin Fever and forget Troublante. Looks better and the price is so much less!
