China Glaze – Son Of A Nutcracker & Ugly Sweater Party

Hey everyone!  Today I have a couple of the China Glaze polishes from the Cheers! Collection from Holiday 2015.

Son of a Nutcracker (I had to get it just for the name!) is a gorgeous pinky red shimmer. Formula was a little thinner than I personally like but it was workable and I did 2 coats plus topcoat for the photos. 2 coats does still show some visible nail line, but that doesn’t bother me at all.

Ugly Sweater Party has a pinky red jelly base and red, pink, blue and holo glitter.  This one does build up to be opaque.  Formula was good.  I used 2 coats on it’s own for the accent. You will also see a photo showing what one coat looks like layered over Son of a Nutcracker (on my thumb).  It dries nice and smooth and only one coat of topcoat is needed.
