Hi everyone! I had a bad nail break this week and had to super nub my nails. So I chose a dark vampy color to wear for my manicure today. My pictures looked horrible with the Layla polish on it’s own though, so I added a layer of Zoya Leia and all was great again!

Layla Ceramic Effect 22 Tuscany Grapes looks like a deep plum in the bottle but on my shorties it looked like a deep burgundy wine. I don’t know if it changed colors over the years because it looks nothing like other swatches on the internet, but I still love it! I had some weird bubbles sort of that I couldn’t even see with my eyes, but of course the camera picked up so I abandoned the pictures of this one on it’s own. I wonder if oiling before polishing makes this happen because it happened recently with another crelly formula that I didn’t even post because the photos looked so horrible, but to my eye it looked great.
Anyway, the Layla formula was excellent. A crelly that is on the thin side but doesn’t run or pool in the cuticles. Just about perfect! I used 2 coats plus topcoat.
So to save this mani so I could post about it today, I added 1 coat of Zoya Leia. A gorgeous sheer topper of pink and white shimmer flecks. You can even see a bit of duo chrome to some of the pictures. Love Leia!
