Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a redo of a mani I (luckily) posted last November when I first got the polish. I say luckily because at least I got to enjoy the polish as it was meant to be one time.

Femme Fatale Love’s Wound. I wore this polish last year when I first got it in the mail but I just heard last week that some batches of the polish had an unstable pigment and the nail polish could change color. So I pulled my bottle out and sure enough, what was once a bright orchid purple is now a barbie pink. It does still have that green shimmer in it though. Bummer! I have an email into the stockist I purchased my bottle from to get a refund as per the instructions on Femme Fatale’s Facebook page. I did also read that the maker of the polish has reformulated the nail polish using a more stable pigment, but the new one may not be as vibrant as the original one was. I did not buy the new polish so I cannot do any comparisons on that. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for my manicure today.
Here’s a photo of what it was back in November when I first received the polish to what it is today. You can see the original post by clicking HERE. Big difference in color!

The “new/original” Femme Fatale Love’s Wound, 2 coats plus topcoat. Color change due to unstable pigment.
In the lightbox…
Indoors with flash. The flash has darkened the base color, but it shows off the green shimmer beautifully…
Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
