Covet Lacquer – Purl & Pure Ice – Frosted Ice Wild Orchid

Hi everyone! For today’s manicure, I recycled my Covet Lacquer Purl mani which I love so much and I added a coat of a sheer Pure Ice shimmer.

Covet Lacquer Purl is a beautiful cobalt blue holographic nail polish. You can see my swatches of that one in last Sunday’s post. Today I added 1 coat plus topcoat of Pure Ice Frosted Ice Wild Orchid. I don’t know too much about this polish, I bought it a few years ago from a blog sale and I couldn’t really find anything via Google. It’s a sheer gray/blue base with loads of purple shimmer. It is so pretty, it just glows from within. It’s sheer and I think not meant to be worn alone. It may build up in 3-5 coats, but it just won’t look as magical as just one coat over a blue or purple base looks. I love it!
