Hi everyone! Today’s manicure fooled me. I thought I was going to have a purple glitter mani (from looking at the bottle), but it turned out to be a raspberry red. Oh well, you have to roll with the punches sometimes!
BB Couture Dragon’s Breath looks more purple in the bottle, but on my nails it turns into a deep raspberry red with red sparkles. I could not capture in my photos the sparkle from within this polish has. It’s really beautiful!
The nail polish has a great formula, but since the base is a jelly if you put a thick first coat on one finger and a thinner coat on another finger it’s harder to get them to all match depth wise as you do a second coat. So be careful with the first coat, apply the same amount of polish and pressure and two coats will be enough. I, of course, had to do 3 coats. Only 1 coat of topcoat was needed to make it perfectly smooth.
This nail polish is so sparkly. It has depth and squishiness (I think I made up a new word). I really love it, even if it wasn’t exactly what I was expecting!
