Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a nice palette cleanser.
Rescue Beauty Lounge Ethereal is beautiful in the bottle. A creamy white with intense pink shimmer. Translating that onto the nail is another story! It’s difficult to work with. I did 2 coats of nail polish then a quick dry topcoat. I let that dry completely and then painted one more coat of nail polish and another coat of topcoat. This pretty much covered up all the huge gouges that were left at two coats. Also, unfortunately the pink shimmer does not show up on the nail in any kind of lighting I could find. It’s a nice polish but I’m glad I didn’t pay full price for it.
Hare Polish Let Then Eat…What? is from the Spring 2013 Last Queen of France Collection. I really love this nail polish but I did lose count of how many coats I did. Maybe 5? I could have layered it over the RBL, but I really like the sheerer look of it layered upon itself.
So, I really do like this manicure a lot even with all the troubles and coats of polish it took.
