It’s My One Year Blog-Aversary!!
Hi everyone! Today I wanted to wear a special nail polish for this special day, my one year blog-aversary. I can’t believe I’ve been doing this blog for a year already! Today’s manicure features the elusive, hard to find, Ninja Polish Alexandrite! *Cue ♪ Angel’s singing ♫*. I wish she could get the needed pigment to make more of this because every nail polish lover should be able to own this polish! This post is Very pic heavy!!
Ninja Polish Alexandrite is made of magic. I don’t know how else to describe it. It’s a clear base with these small glitters that change from bright pink to purple to teal to green to gold. It’s the craziest, most beautiful thing I’ve seen in a long time. I layered 2 coats of Alexandrite over one coat of a basic black creme. I don’t know what else to say, so I’ll just show you in photos.
PS, there is no trickery in this bottle shot. That’s exactly how it came out being photographed in my lightbox.
Ninja Polish Alexandrite, 2 coats over black base.
In the lightbox…
Outside in late afternoon overcast skies…
Outside in early morning cloudy skies…
I wanted to see what this would look like layered over a purple base so on my thumb I put one coat of Dance Legend Fresh 71, a medium purple, and layered 2 coats of Ninja Polish Alexandrite over top. It’s very cool looking in real life. Kind of hard to capture in pictures.
Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
