Hi everyone! For today’s manicure, I’m wearing the second nail polish I picked up from the new Essie Gel Couture line. Everything I said about my first nail polish from this line, Labels Only, holds true to this bottle also. Perfect brush, formula, application and saturation!
Essie Twill Seeker is a dark plum base with green shimmer. The shimmer is strong in the sun/bright light but not really evident in indoor lighting. Indoors this polish takes on a dark grayed taupe look. It’s quite an unusual and unexpected color. This will be especially pretty in the fall/winter.
I still love the brush and this is another one coater! In my photos I have 1 coat plus topcoat on my index and middle fingers and 2 coats plus topcoat on my ring and pinky fingers. You’ll see in the sun pictures, the 1 coat fingers look streaky and like there are bald places, but you cannot see that in real life (at least my old eyes can’t). It seems as though my camera picks up every flaw and magnifies it!
I really like this polish a lot, but I do wish the shimmer was more evident indoors.
