Nubar – Jewel

Hi everyone! I’m getting ready for my big move so I’ve been packing up my polishes and came across this pretty one I hadn’t worn before, so I chose this Nubar for my manicure today.

Nubar – Jewel

Nubar Jewel is a milk chocolate brown loaded with holo glitter. This has an excellent formula and if you are not taking photos in the bright sun, this could be a 1 coater too! (The mani looks fine to my eye, but of course the camera picks up every flaw!) The second coat of polish does deepen the color, so really 2 coats is best. In my photos, I have 1 coat on my middle finger and 2 coats on the rest. This nail polish does need a lot of topcoat to smooth it out. I’ve used 2 coats of a thick topcoat already and it still settled into the glitter and feels slightly textured. One more topcoat would have smoothed it out I think. I love this, it will be perfect in the fall!

Outside in the bright sun…

Outside in the shade…

Inside with indirect natural light…

Inside with flash (really darkened the color)…

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
