Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is from a brand that is new to me. I bought this polish at a Bed, Bath and Beyond that has a Harmon drugstore inside it. I’d never come across one of these BB&B’s so I was so happy to have found one close by! I picked up a few polishes from this brand. Here’s the most unusual one.
Kokie Onyx is a crazy polish! You will see the base as gunmetal, gray, taupe or purple. There are silver sparkles that turn into gold, copper or green flecks. There’s a scattering of holo micro glitter when you get out in the sun. I can’t even accurately describe this one, it is so many different things based on the lighting you are in. This is a home run polish from a drugstore brand. I am amazed by it!
The formula was good. Thinner than I like so it pooled a bit in my cuticles. But it goes on really easy and smooth. I used 3 coats plus topcoat. One thing I don’t like is the lid is black and white striped and I had lotion on my hands which made the black lines smear and in some places smear entirely away all over my hands. So the lid looks dirty and my hands were now dirty. I don’t know of any way to prevent this (short of not having lotion on your hands when you handle the bottle). That’s the only downside to this polish.

Outside in the sun…
Outside in sun/shade mix…
Inside with lots of natural light…
Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
