Hi everyone! I was finally able to get my hands on a few of new Zoya’s from the Enchanted Collection. Today’s manicure is a PixieDust. I thought Zoya was discontinuing their PixieDusts, but I guess not since they came out with four new ones in this collection! I’m happy, I really love them!
Zoya Alice is described by Zoya as, “Periwinkle with magenta and blue sparkles in the exclusive Zoya PixieDust Matte Sparkle formula”. I agree that periwinkle is a good description, but it definitely leans purple. In my opinion, PixieDust polishes are not super textured (except for the older “magical” PixieDust). There is certainly a texture to them, but it is not overly bumpy. Two coats of topcoat will usually smooth these right out if you are not a fan of the feeling of the texture. Topcoat also brings out a lot more sparkle!
This nail polish has an excellent formula! I used 2 coats of polish and put 2 coats of topcoat only on my index and middle fingers. The ring and pinky are left textured. The topcoat also darkened the color just a tiny bit. I love textured polishes and this is no exception!
