Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a gorgeous nail polish from Enchanted Polish. This polish is one of the original three polishes from the Opal Collection. A couple weeks ago Enchanted Polish had a restock of the three original polishes and three new Opal Collection polishes. Things sold out in seconds! I was so fortunate to have grabbed all three of the original polishes, but missed out on the newest ones. Since things sold out so quickly, Chelsea (the maker of the brand) decided to do a pre-order on that same day for all six polishes from the Opal Collection. So I went ahead and pre-ordered the three new ones as well. I received the first three polishes already since I was able to get them during the restock and not the pre-order, and the other three will come in the middle to end of December.
Now, I just got an email yesterday that she is adding three MORE holiday polishes to the Opal Collection and she will be doing another pre-order this Friday, November 25th starting at 8am PST and going through December 2nd at 9pm PST for ALL NINE polishes from the Opal Collection. You can get all the details on her Facebook page. You will find the sale on her website. I am not affiliated with Enchanted at all except to be a fan of her polishes.

So in the next few days, I will share photos of the original three polishes from the Opal Collection; Candied Opal, Opal Lagoon, and Opal Nectar.
First up is Candied Opal. This is a dark magenta jelly base with iridescent glitter, that suspends beautifully in the jelly and adds such depth to the polish, and a scattered holo as well. Indoors you don’t see the holo at all, but the depth and dimension you get from the glitter in the jelly base is gorgeous! In some lights the base looks more red or burgundy even and sometimes more pinky magenta. What you don’t see on your nails that you see in the bottle is the different colors of the glitter. The jelly base makes them appear almost copper or red, but you never see the blue, green or purple you will see in the bottle shots down below. Formula is fantastic as usual with Enchanted Polish. I used 2 coats on my index and pinky and put 3 coats on my middle and ring fingers. 3 coats did deepen the color a little bit more, but 2 coats is sufficient. It dries nice and smooth and only one coat of topcoat is needed. I really love this one a lot!
I’m editing this to mention, you may want to double up on basecoat with this one especially. After removal, I was left with slightly pink nails. I doubled up on basecoat with Opal Nectar and Opal Lagoon and did not have any additional discoloration.
Enchanted Polish Candied Opal, 2 coats on index and pinky and 3 coats on middle and ring.
