OPI Infinite Shine – My Private Jet

Hi everyone! I hope those of you in the US had a Happy Thanksgiving yesterday! Today’s manicure is another variation of OPI My Private Jet (this one’s holo again!).

 

 

 

Those of you who are familiar with OPI My Private Jet know that there was the original release which was a beautiful holo. Sometimes it’s described as brown and sometimes black or charcoal (or maybe there were two of them?). This one has become hard to find (and very expensive if you do find it) and I am not lucky enough to own either of those.

Then OPI came out with a “dud” version or two or three. One was just brown, one was said to have a “teal flash”, I think there’s even another description for another one. I do own a dud version and it is very pretty for what it is, but it is NOT a replacement for the original.

Now, OPI Infinite Shine seems to have come out with a holo version of My Private Jet once again! I think it’s still not the same as the original, but this one is very pretty! This is a brown base with scattered holo. Formula was excellent! I used 2 coats plus just a regular topcoat, not the special Infinite Shine topcoat. I did quite a bit of cooking and hand washing yesterday while wearing this and so I do have some tip wear and slight chips, but it really took a beating, so this is not bad. I picked this up at Ulta about a month or two ago, so hopefully you are able to easily find it if you like it.
