Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another from the Wet n Wild Megalast line. I put this polish on late yesterday and saw today that the Pantone color for 2017 was announced as Greenery. I’m a little more lime than greenery, but really close, what a coincidence! This is an older nail polish, I purchased it in 2013 so I’m unsure if it is still available or not.
I put this polish on planing on putting a glitter over top for an updated mani post, but my test finger didn’t look as I planned, so I just wore this on it’s own. I really love it!
Limelight is a bright lime green with a golden shimmer running through it. The shimmer is very strong! This had a fantastic formula! Be careful painting your first coat so you don’t get patchy ridges, and the next coats will glide on easily. I used 3 coats plus topcoat but smudged my ring finger so redid that one finger with just 2 coats plus topcoat. If you don’t mind a little visible nail line, 2 coats works fine. Even at 3 coats you may see a little nail line. Really fun, bright nail polish color for December!
