Hi everyone! Today’s mani is from another “new to me” indie polish maker. A big sale was posted in a Facebook group I belong to after Black Friday because the maker was going on vacation for the month of December, so I took advantage and bought the Black Friday duo and one other polish from the shop.
I’m going to start with the bad. As soon as I opened the package there was a strong odor of smoke so I think these came from a smokers house. I only mention this because I know some people are very sensitive to smells and I just want you to be warned. The envelope and bubble wrap all smelled strongly of it. Of course the bottles of polish are fine and they do not have the same odor. Once all the packaging was disposed of, everything was fine.
I started with a nail polish named Sugar. This is a pinky nude linear holographic. The holo is strong with this one. The formula was gloopy so I needed to add some nail polish thinner. After that the polish went on smoothly and easily. I used 2 coats plus topcoat for my manicure today. This would be a great polish for a more conservative office environment. It is neutral enough indoors but will still keep you entertained and once you’re out in the sun or other bright light the holo flame will come out. After a couple hiccups, I really do like this one a lot!
Seventy Seven Nail Lacquer Sugar, 2 coats plus topcoat. It was hard to capture this one in a true to life color. The outdoor, overcast photos below are pretty true to what you will see inside but if you have good lighting even indoors you will see a bit of holo flame.

Night time, inside with additional flash. These show the awesome holo, but the color is much darker here than in real life…
Outside on an overcast day…
Thanks so much for stopping by!
