Hey everyone! Happy New Year! My wish for all of us this new year is health and happiness, safety and peace! Today’s manicure is a nice combo using polishes from Pahlish and China Glaze.
Pahlish Opaleye is from the Fantastic Beast Trio. It is available as of my writing this post on her website HERE. This is a medium lavender with a brighter purple shimmer. You cannot see the shimmer on the nail, it’s just there to add a glow to the nail. Formula was great! The first coat was a little streaky but it built up and leveled off beautifully with a second coat.
China Glaze Let’s Shell-ebrate is from the newest 2016 Holiday Collection, Seas and Greetings. This has a very slight tinted base with gold and purple glitter and shimmer. It has a great formula. The glitter comes out and distributes perfectly on the nail. No dabbing or maneuvering needed. I used just one coat over the Pahlish on my middle and ring fingers. My bottle has a slight tinted base but I don’t think this would ever build up to be opaque. I think it is intended as a topper. It does dry very smooth and only one coat of topcoat is needed.
Pahlish Opaleye, 2 coats plus topcoat and China Glaze Let’s Shell-ebrate, 1 coat as a topper and 1 coat topcoat.
