Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is actually a polish I had on about 10 days ago. I got news of a death in the family and had to leave town, so I took some quick photos before removing this for something that would last over a week. I’m just now back home and had to show this one off. It is an older, discontinued polish, and it is spectacular! I have a lot of photos in today’s post!
Rimmel Zeitgeist is a magenta/gold/rust/blue/green multi chrome nail polish. This is an old school multi chrome at it’s finest! I think this polish came out almost 10 years ago! It’s near to impossible to find, but if you ever see it, grab it quick! If you hate it, I will take it off your hands for you!! 🙂
I was in the right place at the right time for this one. I got it on Ebay in 2014 and was so happy I finally found it!
The main color of this nail polish is magenta/purple. It easily shifts to a brown/rust/gold. You may also see a green to blue shift too if you’re lucky! This had an excellent formula but was a little brush-stroky while applying. They did seem to level off and dissipate upon drying though. Also, while painting this one, I thought I possibly got a dud. There was almost no shift. Once it dried though, BAM! colors everywhere! I used two coats plus topcoat today. I LOVE this one!
Lots of indie polish brands make fantastic duo and multi chromes these days (this is probably very close to I Love Nail Polish’s Cameo), but as a collector of nail polish, I am honored and ecstatic to have this OG multi chrome polish in my collection!!
