Hi everyone! Today’s manicure comes from a monthly nail polish box called For The Love Of Polish. The polishes in the box are Limited Edition and only available during that month. Today’s polish was from the Feb 2017 box which is no longer available. Check out their Instagram page (@fortheloveofpolishbox) though for sneak peeks and info on the next box coming early March.
Illyrian Oracle is described as, “A smokey blackened purple base packed with green to teal and blue to green iridescent glitters, tiny holo particles, pink shimmer, and a blue to purple shifting shimmer”. I see a dark purple (that looks considerably lighter in bright sun) with blue, green and gold glitter in a few sizes, pinky purple flakes of shimmer and a smattering of micro holo glitter.
It’s a very nice combo of colors and a great nail polish! Formula was pretty good. I did need to add a few drops of nail polish thinner to my bottle and that made everything much easier to work with. I stopped at two coats but maybe should have done a third. It looked great indoors to my eye, but when I got into bright light/sun you could still see some visible nail line. A third coat would have taken it to complete opacity. Overall, I really liked this one a lot!
