Hi everyone! Today’s manicures features one of my all time favorite glitter toppers. Good news if you’ve been wanting this one. Keep reading!!

I read on Facebook the other day that there was a new indie nail polish maker and someone was asking if anyone had heard of the new brand Sugar Flor Boutique. I had not heard of them, but read some of the comments. Someone else said that they found out that this new brand used to sell polish under the name Windestine. I have a few Windestine polishes from back in 2012 before she closed up shop and one of my favorite glitter toppers EVER comes from her (spoiler: it’s this one, Jeweled Sand!). I even had to buy a backup when I heard she was closing up.
The good news I have today is she has re-issued this glitter topper under her new brand, Sugar Flor Boutique and the polish has the same name as before, Jeweled Sand. She just came out with a new collection of crelly based glitters. All her polishes are only available in mini sizes and I’m always hesitant of minis, but I read on Facebook that the formulas were excellent and the brush was a good one considering it was a mini. I will let you all know my thoughts on these new polishes in a few days when I get my first order. 🙂 I am not affiliated with this brand at all.
Anyway, onto today’s polish. Windestine Jeweled Sand is such a delicate glitter topper. It’s a clear base with really fine, macro gold “sand” glitter, a very small pink or possibly rose gold glitter, and a bright blue small hex “jewel” glitter. There is also either some small holo hexes or some of the bright blue glitter are also holo because in certain lights you get glints of holo and multi colors. This polish has the perfect name too. It is just like little jewels sparkling in the sand.
I hadn’t worn this in years, but it’s always in the back of my mind if someone would bring up the brand or polish name. So after being re-reminded of it the other day, I had to pull it out and wear it again. I think I found the perfect “undies” for it too in China Glaze Pearl Jammin’. It also looks great over a bright coral base color.
I used two perfect coats of Jeweled Sand over my two coats of Pearl Jammin’ from the other day. It dries nice and smooth so only one coat of topcoat is needed to smooth it out. This is going into my favorite mani’s of 2017 folder, that’s how much I love this one!
