Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a shiny blue from Sinful Colors. This is one of many colors from the recent collaboration that Kandee Johnson, famous You Tuber, did with Sinful Colors. These were so hard for me to find locally. Sinful Colors are such great polishes for just a few dollars, I like to pick some up when I can find the new displays. Unfortunately, they are getting harder and harder to find.
Blueberry Hot Rod (2255) is described by Sinful Colors as, “vibrant blue and fuchsia iridescent color”. I say it’s a bright electric blue with pink shimmer. I think this may be considered like a glass fleck polish. It seems to be made up of all these little flakes. This is not a true duo chrome polish, but the way the light hits the pink shimmer gives it the illusion of a duo chrome on your nails (and in the bottle). Indoors it’s very shiny, like a foil finish. Boy, I’m all over the place describing this one; glass fleck, foil, duo chrome. It kind of has me baffled as to what it is exactly. I can tell you it’s gorgeous. And you need it if you can find it.
Formula was great, but it was on the thin side. I tried to do thin coats, the polish starts out kind of sheer. Some of my fingers got thicker coats and some thinner. I ended up doing three coats plus topcoat. If you go a little thicker you maybe can get away with two coats. I really love this one!

Hi! I got this one at Walgreen’s in February. I had to drive to a Walgreen’s pretty far from me to find it. People are saying some Walmarts are just putting out some of the Kandee Johnson display’s, so you could maybe check there too. Good luck, it is really pretty!!
