Hi everyone! In yesterday’s post I had a sneak peek into what I was going to be up to for today’s manicure: I added a couple of the Color Kissed Ultra Holo’s from ILNP (I Love Nail Polish) on top. I was originally planning on just using Rosewater, but when I saw the gold shimmer in Sunday Brunch, I thought that would look good with the gold sparkles in Zoya Lacey. You can find these gorgeous Color Kissed Ultra Holos and many more gorgeous things from ILNP HERE. I am not affiliated with Zoya or ILNP, just a fan of both!
So I started with two coats of Zoya Lacey. You can see that post HERE. Then I added two coats of ILNP Rosewater on my middle and ring fingers and two coats of Sunday Brunch on my index and pinky fingers. These polishes are Ultra Holos with shimmer in them to add a hint of color. Rosewater has a pink shimmer and Sunday Brunch a gold shimmer. You can really tell the difference in the shimmers while indoors or in the shade. They are so blindingly holo in the sun! In direct sun you really just mainly notice the bling of the holo. You can still the shimmer if you move your hand around though.
These Ultra Holos will build up to be opaque on their own in 2-3 coats, but someone mentioned on MUA about layering them so thought I’d try that first. I added two coats and really wish I had stopped after one coat. Two coats covers the green base of Zoya Lacey more than I had hoped. My sneak peek yesterday had just one coat and I wish I had stayed with that plan. I do still like how it turned out and can’t wait to wear these Ultra Holo alone and layered more in the future!
The Ultra Holos had a great formula. They do dry super smooth and a little bit dull so you will want a good glossy topcoat to bring out all the sparkle!

Outside in the shade of my umbrella which is green and I think added a reflection of green to the nails. I thought these photos turned out really pretty so wanted to share them too…
Indoors in my bright, naturally lit kitchen. No additional flash…
Here’s a quick comparison of ILNP Sunday Brunch to Zoya Alicia. These are somewhat similar but the ILNP has a much more prominent warm orange/golden shimmer that the Zoya lacks.

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

What would you say; how close is ILNP’s ‘Sunday Brunch’ to Zoya’s ‘Alicia’? I own the second & try to figure out if I need the first one as well. 😉

Thanks for the compliment!
I updated this post with a few photos showing the difference between ILNP Sunday Brunch and Zoya Alicia. You’ll find them at them bottom of the post. I think the ILNP has a warmer, more noticeable shimmer than the Zoya.
Thanks for checking out my blog and for the comment!
Paula, thanks so much for your time in putting up a comparison! It’s a huge help and highly appreciated. ♥
