Hi everyone! It was brought up on a Facebook group I’m in that the newish Sinful Colors Stoned Crystal Shimmers collection may be close to the Dance Legend Mist Way colors and Illamasqua Raindrops & Pink Raindrops. Well, I have a few of the Mist Way colors and both of the Illamasqua’s, so I thought I would do a comparison and give my thoughts on these polishes.
I will start with the bottle shots of the colors I compared…
Now I will show you on my nail wheel one coat (no top coat) of each color.

My thoughts: As you see, there are no true dupes here. The feel of all the polishes is the same since they all have iridescent flakies. The Dance Legends were very sheer and the flakes are not abundant. I would group Illamasqua Raindrops into that description as well.
Illamasqua Pink Raindrops is more opaque and it also has an additional shimmer in the bottle. It is actually very close to Sinful Just Deserts. It is just a bit more pink toned, but pretty close in real life.
The Sinful’s had the best formulas and the best flakie presence. For being the cheapest polish of the lot, if you are looking for a iridescent flakie polish, Sinful is really superior to the Dance Legend’s (which retail for $10 each) and the Illamasqua’s (which retail for $18 each) (although I will say Pink Raindrops is really very nice too).
