Hi everyone! Guess what today’s manicure is from…yep, the latest Color Box! This quarter’s theme was blue and so far I have loved all 4 out of 4 polishes I have tried from this box. Sakura Skies is described as, “a summer sky blue base with pink to peach to gold shifting glass fleck/shimmer with a dusting of holo pigment”. Yes! The only thing that I didn’t see was the holo pigment. It probably got lost in those color shifting shimmer flecks. Even out in the sun I didn’t see holo but you know what, it doesn’t need it. This polish is so beautiful even without seeing holo. The shifting shimmer flecks are very noticeable! Even watching TV last night I was catching the gold shift. I think I was enjoying my manicure more than my TV show!
Formula was excellent as I’ve found with the other Baroness X polishes I’ve worn. This builds up beautifully in two to three coats depending on how thick of a coat you apply. I used three smooth, easy coats plus topcoat. Love it!
