Blush Lacquer – Blue a Fuse // March 2017 The Color Box

Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is the last nail polish from March 2017’s The Color Box. The theme for that box was blue. You can read all about The Color Box HERE. They’re getting ready for the next box soon and that one will be pink! Follow them on Facebook or Instagram to get all the upcoming details!

This polish comes from Blush Lacquer. This is my very first polish from this brand. You can find their store HERE. The good news with me waiting so long to show you this polish is there is a pre-order going on now in her store for this color! I don’t know how long it will last, but if you like this polish, go quick and pre-order it HERE.

I am not affiliated with either The Color Box or Blush Lacquer.

Blue a Fuse was described as, “A deeper blue base with blue micro flakies, holo flakies, holo and a hint of black shreds”. I wrote down that it was a deep navy with black shard glitter and a subtle holo. It’s a really nice polish. Formula was excellent! Really smooth and easy to apply. The black shards came out and distributed very easily, I did not need to dab or maneuver them around at all. I used two coats plus topcoat for this manicure.

I don’t usually remove the polish before my blog post, but since I meant to do this post a couple days ago, I have removed it and good news: no staining! The black shards held on a little but were easy enough to remove with a little felt and remover.

I really loved this one! I have just one more polish from this brand in my stash, but I’ll be keeping my eye on future releases for sure! It is a smaller bottle. I don’t see a ml listed on the bottle, but I just checked the store and they are listed as 11 ml.

I found my garage light is a good place to showcase a holo when there is not much sun outside, so these were taken in my garage with additional flash…

Inside the house with flash…

Inside without flash. These were taken in two different areas of my house, so lighting and skin tone may look different…

Outside in the shade…

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.
