Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another nail polish from my huge Tonic Polish haul. This one is from a collaboration Tonic did with Femme Fatale called Four Seasons. Two of my favorite indies coming together? Yes, please!
There are four polishes in this collaboration (two from Tonic and two from Femme Fatale). You can buy all four in a group or pick and choose which ones you want. Promise of Spring is described as, “a pale metallic yellow-green Lumichrome that shifts to mint green and blue with a scattered holo shimmer”. I saw it as going from celadon green to an almost lime. There is certainly a golden green aspect to it and I get a dark (blue?) outline around the edges since my nails have a strong curve to them. And additionally it has a subtle holo.
Personally, this is not one of my favorite colors with my skin tone, but if you like this type of color, this is a great one! Formula was very smooth and easy to apply. It was a little brushstroky, but they mainly disappeared after drying and with topcoat. I liked this one best outside. It lightened it up a little to a minty green and that subtle scattered holo came out. I used two coats plus topcoat for my manicure today.
