Hi again everyone! Here is the last swatch from the seven polishes in the Essence Out Of Space Stories Collection. You can see all the previous posts by clicking HERE. I am not affiliated with Essence.
We Will Spock You! is a silver holo. I was thinking it was a pretty subtle holo but once I got into the sun, there is a pretty good flame that comes out! It doesn’t look like much inside, just a flat silver, but the holo is pretty if you are going to be outside at the pool or beach, etc. Formula was really good. It is on the sheer side. I used three thin coats then a thicker fourth coat. I think two thin and a thicker third would have worked too if you are opposed to doing four coats. I also added top coat.

When I had Outta Space Is The Place on the other day, I added one coat of this silver holo to my middle and ring fingers to see how it looked. For as sheer as the holo was on it’s own today, it covered the pink really too much with even just one coat, in my opinion. It did look nice and it will conserve the polish from having to do three-four coats on it’s own to layer it though.

I haven’t talked about the bottles or brushes in this collection. The bottles are a rectangular shape, 9ml. The brush is a wider one, but it’s not rounded at the bottom but flat across. I prefer rounder, it fits into the cuticle line better, but this wasn’t bad at all to use.
So this was a nice collection. You really can’t go wrong for only $3 each. The Essence website gives free shipping with just a $15 purchase, so that’s a great bonus too! I think my favorites from this collection were Outta Space Is The Place, Beam Me Up, and Space Glam especially since it’s a near dupe to the Nails Inc Sparkle Like A Unicorn polish, Dream Dust. They all had really nice formulas though.

I feel like “We Will Spock You” is exactly like Zoya’s “Alicia”. Nothing new there, but those make a GREAT to coat to a color that is kinda boring. They jazz it up a bit. Look GREAT on a light blue polish.
