Hi everyone! This has been a busy couple weeks for me! I just got in the upcoming OPI Fall/Winter 2017 Iceland Collection! I had to get bottle shots and swatch wheel photos up for you right away! Watch for real swatches coming soon!

I don’t know why some of my bottles look different than others. I ordered from Transdesign and they came pretty quickly, but some of the bottles had a lot of dried polish around the threads and in the lids of the bottles.

There are a lot of pictures here today! I am not affiliated with OPI.

Fall 2017 OPI Iceland Collection

This collection consists of:

  • 9 Cremes
  • 1 Subtle (?) shimmer
  • 1 Frosty sparkle/shimmer
  • 1 Jelly base with a beautiful contrasting shimmer. I don’t think this is “Unicorn Pee” because I don’t see a green shift and UP is very hard to find anymore, but I am **so** happy to see a polish like this from a mainstream brand!! Way to go OPI!!

My first thoughts from swatching the nail wheel:

  • OPI does great cremes. I can’t wait to really swatch these cremes and see if they go on as smooth on the nail as on the swatch wheel.
  • I could not believe my eyes when I saw the blue jelly with that gorgeous red/copper shimmer. LOVE that OPI did this!

Now, onto the photos! I know that’s why you are here!!

Here is the whole collection. These were taken inside with flash…

I swatched two coats of each color on a clear swatch wheel. Here’s a look at that in various lighting. These are in the same order as the bottle shots above and/or below.

And a quick swatch of that gorgeous jelly shimmer, Turn On The Northern Lights. I think this will be the runaway favorite of this collection!

I am loving these dusty, fall colored, OPI cremes!! I think just from swatching on the wheel, my favorites are Turn On The Northern Lights, Check Out The Old Geysirs and Aurora Berry-alis.  I do reserve the right to add to this favorite list!

Stay turned for real nail swatches as soon as I can get them done. Hopefully by the end of the weekend!

So what do you think? Any must haves so far? Let me know in the comments!

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!

The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.

  1. I read that OPI is redesigning its nail lacquer bottle. Supposedly, it was to launch in October with the holiday collection. Obviously, it’s already out.

    1. Good to know! The new bottle design looks similar to their Infinite Shine line, so I guess they are re-branding in that direction. I wish they would leave the old style. It’s been the same for so long, I’m not so good with change! 🙂

  2. Beautiful colors, but mostly cool toned, which means, not really for me 🙂 I love the ‘Northern Lights’ (it reminds me of Maxfactor’s ‘Fantasy fire’), ‘Less is Norse’ (I’m about to graduate in architecture, perhaps that’s the reason for it 😀 and ‘One Hecla of a color’ .
