Hi everyone! Today I have the last of my Blackheart Beauty polishes to share with you. All six of these have impressed me so much, especially at the price point of only $5! I think they all could rival an indie polish brand! The only down side was the brushes in my bottles were pretty hit or miss. I think half of them were wonky but workable. So I would suggest maybe taking a peek at the brush before buying these in store to ensure they are straight and look good. You can find this brand at Hot Topic stores and online at HotTopic.com. I am not affiliated with Blackheart Beauty or Hot Topic.

Grey Iridescent is a medium gray with green and purple shimmer. The green shimmer is strong, the purple you really have to get lucky to catch a glimpse of that. I have a couple photos below that almost show the purple shimmer in the sun. That was the best I could do. The green shimmer on the other hand is really strong! It’s funny, that shimmer can make the polish look gray to a spruce green to a slate blue. All the colors in my photos are pretty accurate to the type of lighting I am showing them in. Mostly indoors it looked greenish/gray. I used two coats plus topcoat.
I really love this one! I think this will make a nice base for some of those new ILNP Real Magic Toppers too. (hint, hint – stay tuned for that!).
I thought the color looked kind of unique. It reminded me of Butter London Stag Do, so I have a quick comparison at the bottom with that.

Here’s a photo of it with just one coat. No cleanup or topcoat. You can see there are no streaks and the coverage is great. This was inside with flash…

A quick comparison with Butter London Stag Do vs Blackheart Beauty Grey Iridescent. They look very different in the bottle and the shimmer is not the same but once applied they really do look quite similar. Not dupes for sure, but much more similar than you would think looking at the two bottles. All photos inside with flash, in the same order: Butter London Stag Do on the left, Blackheart Beauty Grey Iridescent on the right…

Well, there we have it!
Thanks so much for stopping by!
The polish in this post is from my own collection and was purchased by me.

I like the Blackheart Beauty one better than the Butter London.
