Hi everyone! Today I have the last 6 polishes in the new OPI Holiday 2017 XOXO Collection! This was a really nice collection. A couple of the polishes surprised me (in a good way) coming from a mainstream brand. I am not affiliated with OPI.

Let’s get right to the swatches!
- Ornament To Be Together – This is a silver foil with scattered holo shimmer. I thought this was pretty unique for a mainstream brand! Formula was great! Since it is all shimmer, removal was not difficult. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

- Sending You Holiday Hugs – This is a deep crimson red with gold shimmer. This had a really nice, but thin, formula. Be careful not to overload the brush with polish or you may end up with pooling in the cuticles. The shimmer is there to give a glow to the nail it isn’t actually noticeable as gold shimmer. It does give really nice coverage though. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

- Snow Glad I Met You – This is a champagne frost with subtle shimmer sparkles. There are a lot of brushstrokes as you’re painting, but they did dry down pretty well and topcoat may have helped that. They were mostly noticeable outside in the sun. I used 3 coats plus topcoat.

- The Color That Keeps On Giving – This is “Snow Glad’s” baby pink sister. It has the same shimmer sparkles (and brushstrokes) in a baby pink frosty base. I did notice the least amount of brushstrokes with this one, of the three frosts in this collection. I was either getting better at painting them or this one had a bit better formula than the others. I used 3 coats plus topcoat and I still had a little visible nail line.

- Top the Package With A Beau – This is my favorite from Part 2 of this collection. It is a black base with gold flakes and maybe a very subtle holo shimmer. Excellent formula! I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

- Wanna Wrap? – This is a dark eggplant, or raisin, crelly. This is not jelly enough to be translucent. I tried for a “jelly sandwich” with Ornament To Be Together and it totally covered the silver foil. It pretty much just appears to be black indoors. Outside in bright sun you can tell it has a bit of color to it. It had a really good formula. I used 2 coats plus topcoat.

So that is the whole Holiday 2017 collection from OPI. What did you think? Any must haves in your mind? My favorites were most of the more unusual polishes, but the whole collection was nice and for the most part had easy to use formulas.

I had a request in the comments to compare Wanna Wrap? to Lincoln Park After Dark. These two are so close! Wanna Wrap does have a better formula. Lincoln Park was a bit streaky. Here is 2 coats of each…

I’m rarely disappointed with OPI’s Holiday collections and besides their usual offerings of seasonal reds for every taste and skintone, there’s some interesting shades I’m looking forward to seeing in person! Thanks for all your photos, they really help to show what they will look like when you are wearing them.

Usually, I’m only into creme finishes, but holy crap do I need Ornament to be Together! That as an accent nail with Magala Wine for Christmas nails? Maybe throw some deep green in there too. Oh man. Wait… Is it too early to be planning my holiday nails? What am I saying, I’d use it for NYE too! I plan my nail holidays in advance… Is that super girly or super nerdy?

LOL Katie, you made me smile today ! It’s never too early and really, Christmas is just 9 weeks away, it’ll be here before we know it! And you will have a plan and I will be like, “It’s Christmas already? What am I gonna wear??”
