Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is the second polish I chose to wear from the upcoming Holiday 2017 collection from Orly called Darlings of Defiance. You can see my sneak peek including bottle shots of all 6 polishes in the collection HERE. I am not affiliated with Orly.

Once In A Blue Moon is an icy, silvery, blue/gray frosty shimmer. How’s that for a description? The formula was really easy to apply, but there are brushstrokes so you do need to paint carefully to get them to look straight because they do not really dry down or go completely away with topcoat. To combat the brushstrokes, you can use a makeup wedge to sponge on the last coat of polish. That works really well. Other than the brushstrokes, it was really smooth and easy to apply. I used two coats plus topcoat.

Oooh I like it! Silvery blue.. or bluey silver! I’m loving the metallics coming out. Brushstrokes be damned!
