Hi everyone! Today I have a collection of 6 polishes from Finger Paints to share with you. Finger Paints are only found at Sally Beauty stores. I checked my store in the middle of April and this collection was not out yet, but I went again a couple days ago and a full, new collection was out on the shelves. Even better, the polishes were Buy 1 Get 1 50% off! You have to love a polish sale!
If you love contrasting shimmer like I do, this is the collection you have to see! I am not affiliated with Sally Beauty or Finger Paints.
Included in The Fantasy Collection are 6 polishes:
- Fairy Tale – rose creme with a strong green shimmer shift
- Fantasy World – mauve creme with a strong blue (or purple) shimmer shift
- In the Clouds – sky blue creme with a strong pink shimmer shift
- Legendary Lore – bright pink creme with a strong golden orange shimmer shift
- Lost in Wonderland – light lavender creme with a strong aqua shimmer shift
- Over the Rainbow – pinky orange creme with a strong bright pink shimmer shift
I will be showing these 6 polishes on swatch wheels. I had the Sally Hansen Crayola Collection still sitting on my desk, so I’m using those as undies for this collection. So every wheel you see below will be this same order:
- 2 coats with no undies
- 1 coat over Sally Hansen Wisteria
- 1 coat over Sally Hansen Sea Green
- 1 coat over Sally Hansen Melon
- 1 coat over Sally Hansen Cotton Candy
- 1 coat over Sally Hansen Sky Blue
These polishes all look so great over all these base colors. Your imagination is really the limit as to what you can put any of these polishes over.
Fairy Tale is a rose creme with a strong green shimmer shift.
Fantasy World is a purple/mauve creme with a strong blue (or purple) shimmer shift.
In the Clouds is a sky blue creme with a strong pink shimmer shift. This is one of my favorites. I especially love it over the mint green (Sea Grass) and the bright blue (Sky Blue)
Legendary Lore is a bright pink creme with a strong golden orange shimmer shift. Look at this one over the bright blue on the far right. It’s so pretty!
Lost in Wonderland is a light lavender/neutral pink creme with a strong aqua shimmer shift. This one gave all the base colors a real soft, ethereal look.
Over the Rainbow is a pinky orange creme with a strong bright pink shimmer shift. This was another one of my favorites. One of my great lemmings is Orly Hot House Flower. This really reminds me of that in a way. I don’t know how close they may be, but I really love this one! This is the most opaque on it’s own.

I’m sure these must be long discontinued. I’m afraid you are probably out of luck unless you find one on Ebay or something similar.
