Pahlish – Tempest Shadow

Hi everyone! Today’s mani is a pretty one from Pahlish. I just got this in the mail and it is still available if you like it at Pahlish.com (HERE). I am not affiliated.

Tempest Shadow is described on the website as, “deep berry with holo flakes and olive to blue multichrome shimmer”. I wrote in my notes that I saw it as a plum purple base with a strong green shimmer and chunky holo flecks. Not until I got out in brighter light did I realize the shimmer shifts and in some lighting the base takes on a mocha brown type color. It’s so very complex and hard to describe. It is so pretty though!! It has an excellent formula and coverage even at one coat. It dries to an almost satin finish but smooth as can be! I used two coats plus topcoat on my fingers and I will show you on my thumb what just one coat without topcoat looks like also. I love this one!!

Pahlish Tempest Shadow, 2 coats plus topcoat. The photos look different based on the lighting I was in. They all represent the polish correctly.

If you haven’t got enough, here are a bunch more photos to look through.

These were all taken in my kitchen both with and without additional flash. The first two were taken right by a window and the rest were taken further inside the room…
