Hi everyone! For today’s manicure I just added a coat of a beautiful new flakie I got from 1850 Artisan Polish to my mani from the other day, Quixotic Polish Olympus Vibes. Lion’s Mane Jelly is from the Treasures of the Pacific Collection. I bought both of these polishes at The Indie Shop but you can find them both on the respective websites, HERE for 1850 Artisan Polish and HERE for Quixotic Polish. I am not affiliated with either brand or The Indie Shop.
Lion’s Mane Jelly is described as, “A multichrome flakie topper that shifts dramatically between red and green, with gold on the edges”. I put this over a polish that also has flakies in it, so some of the flakie colors you see in my photos below are shining through from that polish.
The formula is excellent! The flakies come out and distribute perfectly and it is not base heavy; you will not have a glob of clear base to deal with. The flakies lay flat and dry smooth. I love that there are some really large pieces of flakie in there too! You will see a big gold piece on the end of my ring finger. I love it when I get an extra large flakie in my mani! I also have some photos at the bottom of this one with a matte topcoat too. I love it!
