Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is another ‘new to me’ brand. I do have an older color from Cadillacquer but it’s still untried (from 2015). Cadillacquer is made in Zurich, Switzerland and doesn’t seem to have a dedicated web store, but they have many national and international distributors, so no matter where you live, you should be able to get your hands on this brand! You can find them at Hypnotic Polish, Lakodom, Whats Up Nails, and Color4Nails. The last is where I purchased mine from. I am not affiliated.
The All I Need collection is inspired by things the maker loves. I picked up three polishes from this collection and chose Alaska to wear first.
Alaska is described as, “a white crelly with small white glitter, red color shifting, microflakies and shimmer, and iridescent red flakies”. In my words it’s a milky white base with matte white glitter, a strong red shimmer and a few green, red, orange shifting flakies. This has a good application, the glitter comes out easy but the base color is a little streaky. That isn’t a big surprise with this type of base color. I added a matte topcoat between coats two and three and that helped smooth and even it out. I really like this one a lot!
Cadillacquer Alaska, 3 coats (with a matte topcoat between coats 2 and 3) plus glossy topcoat on top.
