KBShimmer – Hard To Empress // June 2018

Hi everyone! Today’s manicure is a brand new polish from KBShimmer, Hard To Empress. I think this is an add-on to the new Wanderlust Collection. This was just released last Friday, which was when I ordered it. If you don’t want to wait around for your nail mail, order from KBShimmer! They are on top of their game! Hard To Empress is described as, “a purple nail polish with unicorn pee shimmer, and unicorn flakes that shift from a vibrant fuchsia to a deep indigo, for a jelly polish meant to impress”. Yes, you read that right!! This polish has some of the original “Unicorn Pee” shifting shimmer. For that reason it is a Limited Edition so don’t wait to order if you love it!

This has an excellent formula! The “UP” pigment shifts from red to green to gold. I didn’t see the green shift on my nails, but I did see it in the bottle. I was able to catch the gold shift on my nails out in the sun. I love the flakies in this one! They shift color and really stand out in the royal purple jelly base! I used two coats plus topcoat. I love this!!!
